Download TikTok comments

Paste a public post link. We already run the comment parser, so you skip setup, proxies and a compute queue. A post with replies usually lands as a list in minutes, not hours of scrolling. You pay only for comments actually collected and for AI you start.

What you get

Every top-level comment together with its replies, kept in the thread they belong to. The post author's own replies are marked, so you can see where a conversation already started.

  • Comments and replies in a single list, without endless scrolling in the app
  • Search by comment text and by author
  • Post metrics, author, sound and cover — free, before you pay for comments
  • The same cabinet token: JSON into a sheet or CRM, plus library, auto-refresh, AI, and keyword alerts with a webhook

How much time this saves

TikTok shows comments in small batches and hides replies. Reading a thread by hand is the slow part. Trendilens already hosts the parser, so the time you get back is the scrolling and the days you would spend keeping a script alive.

  • About 500 comments: roughly 1–2 hours of scrolling, usually under 20 minutes on our servers
  • 1–2k comments with replies: about 2–4 hours of scrolling, typically 15–40 minutes
  • Your own parser or an Apify actor: a day or several to set up, then more when the feed changes — here that setup is already done
  • Packs start at $7 for 10,000 comments. Metadata, the workspace, watching and the API are not a second subscription

How it works

  1. Copy the post link in the TikTok app — a short vt.tiktok.com link works too.
  2. Paste it on the home page and look at the free metadata card.
  3. Run the full breakdown; it charges exactly the comments it actually collected.
  4. Save the breakdown to your library to come back later or switch on automatic refresh.

What it costs

You pay for volume: buy a comment pack and spend it as you go. A post with 800 comments costs 800 comments, not the size of the pack.

Metadata stays free, both on the site and over the API, so you can confirm you have the right link before spending anything.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a file export?

In the app comments are shown as a searchable list. The same cabinet token returns JSON and covers library, auto-refresh, AI, and keyword alerts with a webhook. See /api-docs.

Are replies collected too?

Yes. Replies are fetched along with top-level comments and stay attached to their thread.

What about a very large post?

Collection stops at a sensible cap per post so a breakdown cannot run forever. You are always charged for the comments actually collected.

Does this cover “TT comments” and “comments on TT”?

Yes. Those short forms mean export the public TikTok thread. Paste the link, check free metadata, collect comments with replies.

Tik Tok vs TikTok — does spelling matter?

No. Whether people write TikTok, Tik Tok or TT, the product flow is the same for public posts.

Where are the short SEO pages for download / TT comments?

Thin doorways such as /blog/tt-comments, /blog/tiktok-comments-download and /blog/parsing-tt-comments point back to this export flow and the parser guide.

Is “download TikTok comments” this page?

Yes for the product landing. Short entries: /blog/tiktok-comments-download, /blog/get-all-tiktok-comments.

Need Excel immediately?

This use case is the collect UI; Excel/CSV guide is /blog/export-tiktok-comments-excel.

How Trendilens compares with large parsers

Apify, A-Parser and the official Research API cover a lot. Trendilens is the fast path for public-post comments: the parser is already built and runs on our servers. You paste a link. You pay only for comments collected and for AI you start.

Times are typical for a public post with 1–2k comments and replies. About 500 comments is usually faster. We do not collect private accounts. Packs start at $7 for 10,000 comments; unused volume stays on the balance. Metadata, the workspace, watching and the REST API have no subscription.
