Export Instagram comments

In the app the thread arrives in chunks, replies stay collapsed, and after you close the screen it is unclear who you already saw. Export puts a public post into one list: text, author, time, and whose line it is.

What the list actually holds

Each row is a comment or a reply: text, name, time, likes. Replies stay on their parent, and the post author’s lines are counted separately by author id. The count on the post card and the list length can differ: hidden and deleted comments do not appear.

  • Text, author, time, likes
  • Replies on their own threads
  • The post author’s replies counted apart

How to collect a post

  1. Copy a public post, Reel, carousel or /tv/ link — a short /share/ link and a utm tail are fine.
  2. Paste it on the home page and read the card: caption, author, likes, comment count. Video has views, a photo does not.
  3. Run the collection. Only comments actually received are charged from the shared pack.

What the list does not contain

There is no “slide number” column. A carousel arrives as one post. There are no DMs, Stories or other people’s profiles. A private account is not bypassed.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the list shorter than the count on the card?

The card shows Instagram’s counter. The list holds reachable public comments and replies. Hidden and already deleted ones stay out.
