Comment monitoring: why automatic refresh matters
A post lives longer than a team's attention. A week after publishing, nobody remembers that people are still asking questions under it.
Why a one-off breakdown goes stale
Comments arrive in waves: after publishing, after the post reaches recommendations, after a repost. A breakdown made in the morning is already incomplete by the evening.
Re-running it manually solves this in theory but takes discipline. In practice the post comes to mind once the customer has already gone elsewhere.
How automatic refresh works
A saved post can be put on a timer. From there the system runs the very same breakdown at the chosen interval and adds new comments to the ones already collected.
This is a paid operation: every run charges the comments it actually collected. That is why refreshes never run more often than the minimum interval.
Refresh by itself only appends comments to the list. A Telegram ping needs keywords or “AI is watching”.
Which interval to pick
- The post is fresh and gaining fast — a short interval is justified
- The post is in its second week — a rare refresh gives the same result for less
- The campaign is over — switch watching off; the breakdown stays in the library
Check before switching it on
- There is a comment pack on the balance — without it the refresh will not run
- The post really matters: watching everything costs more than it returns
- If you want a ping instead of reading the list: set keywords or turn on “AI is watching”
