Trendilens and Instagram Graph API
The team has a business account and a token. Their own posts can go through Graph API — that is the honest access ceiling. Trendilens is for when the link is someone else’s: a partner Reel, a competitor, a creator. We are not an Instagram partner program.
When the official path is stronger
- You only need comments on your own media
- First-party API is required
When the link is someone else’s
Graph API will not give someone else’s Reel. The workspace takes a public link, as with TikTok and Threads.
